Episode 2. Thirsty Thursdays.

Thirsty Thursday is an intimate Thursday in store gig. We a curated selection of small bands and artists to the store, from Sheffield and further afield. 

Introducing;

Altpn is a musician and producer based in London. Apltn will perform duo with virtuoso Leeds drummer Theo Goss (K.O.G, Ferg’s Imaginary Big Band, etc.), performing a collection of compositions and improvisations curated specifically for this event. Both extremely skilled musicians. They bring a contemporary take to funk, jazz, rock influences. His work is diverse and includes his own original music, as well as productions and bass playing for a wide range of artists including Lausse the Cat, Jianbo, Nix Northwest, B-ahwe, Chester Watson, Tambala, etc. 

Supporting

Akmd is a Sheffield based arabic flamenco guitarist as seen at No Bounds Festival. Playing authentic folk music from his hometown in Siria, he brings a harmonic soundscape to intricate and complicated guitar work. 

Good Good Djs Suzy and Jack Good Good Vintage owners jump on the decks, before, in-between and after playing warm dancefloor tunes. 

Expected times: 

7pm doors / 8pm Akmd (live). / 8:30pm Altpn (live) pt 1 / Small refreshment break / 9:30 pm Altpn pt 2. / 10pm - Close Good Good djs.

Bar provided by Zapato Brewery, Independent Huddersfield based coo-coo Brewery with origins working for North Brewing in Leeds.

Zero percent beers available.

Lentil soup & bread available & Cafe open with caffinated and caffine free drinks, late night chai lattes and hot chocolates. Savoury and sweet bakes well stocked.
